Job summary

Schibsted is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and improve models behind the dynamic paywall and offers. You will work with experienced data scientists, analysts and engineers, taking ownership of projects and growing your skills while collaborating with brands across Norway and Sweden.

The role focuses on building, testing and deploying ML models, designing experiments, and communicating results to commercial teams. Hybrid work in Oslo, Bergen or Stockholm is offered.

Qualifications

• Python or R and SQL used to analyse data and build models.
• Hands-on experience developing and evaluating ML models.
• Solid foundation in statistics and experimentation, including hypothesis testing and A/B tests.
• Ability to explain ML work to non-ML audiences and learn from business teams.

Responsibilities

• Make the paywall smarter by developing and improving models behind the dynamic paywall and offers.
• Design, run, and analyse experiments with brands and report results including null findings.
• Build models from notebook to production with data scientists and engineers (feature engineering, training, evaluation, monitoring).
• Explain findings with clear analysis and dashboards for commercial teams.
• Suggest improvements to modelling, tooling and MLOps as brands come on board.
