Job summary

Orkla Home & Personal Care is seeking a data & analytics professional to turn business needs into practical data solutions at our Skøyen head office in Oslo. You will work with Power BI and Databricks, building scalable dashboards and automated reporting to support decision making.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance and collaboration with business and technology teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement across our analytics platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in IT, data, engineering, business analytics or related field.
• Foundation in data modelling and business logic gained through studies, projects or work.
• Basic experience with Power BI, or a strong motivation to learn, including semantic modelling.
• Interest in data quality, governance and security.
• Structured approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to communicate with both business and technology colleagues.
• Excellent English and Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Turn business needs into reusable data products and governed self‑service solutions.
• Build and test Power BI semantic models, dashboards and KPI definitions.
• Connect solutions to the data platform and Databricks.
• Automate recurring reporting and reduce manual work.
• Ensure data quality, security, access control and documentation.
• Collaborate with business and tech colleagues to ensure adoption.
• Maintain and improve existing data products and reporting solutions.
