Job summary
Head Energy is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers for data centre projects across Norway. You will monitor mechanical installations, coordinate MEP systems, and support commissioning through testing and handover.
The role requires documented data centre project experience, an engineering degree or equivalent, and strong English for technical documentation.
Assignments are primarily site-based with rotations per project, offering mentoring, career guidance, and access to courses.
Qualifications
- Documented data centre project experience is required.
- Experience with MEP coordination, installation supervision, and commissioning.
- Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specs, and QA documentation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor installation quality and QA/QC across projects.
- Verify installations against drawings, BIM, and ITPs.
- Coordinate interfaces with electrical, automation/BMS, and fire protection.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, and handover.
- Record non-conformances and manage technical queries.
