Job summary

First Point Group is seeking an experienced HSE Manager / Lead to join a large-scale data centre project in Norway. The role will drive HSE across data centre construction and 24/7 critical operations, ensuring compliance with Norwegian HSE/HMS requirements.

You will lead site HSE strategy, policies, audits and inspections, manage contractor HSE and incident investigations, and deliver training to build a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HSE experience in data centres, critical facilities, construction, energy or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian HSE/HMS regulations.
• Experience with PTW, LOTO, contractor management, audits and incident investigation.
• HSE qualification such as NEBOSH/IOSH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site HSE strategy, policies, audits and inspections.
• Manage contractor HSE, RAMS, PTW, LOTO and high-risk activities.
• Oversee electrical safety, work at height, lifting, confined space and construction risks.
• Lead incident investigations, CAPA and risk management.
• Manage environmental, chemical and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and competency programs.
• Work closely with Critical Facilities, Security, contractors and senior stakeholders.
