Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team in Elverum, Norway. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, manage cabling, and support critical infrastructure across facilities.

The role demands 3+ years in data center operations, strong troubleshooting, solid documentation, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Evening/weekend on-call rotations may apply; a portfolio of relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking; collaborate with teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
