Job summary

Lefdal Mine Data Centers AS in Norway is seeking a Data Center Technician to be the dedicated technical resource supporting one of our HPC customers. You will deploy servers, storage, and networking gear, install and repair hardware, troubleshoot issues, and participate in ongoing improvements.

Based at Lefdal, Nordfjord, Norway, the role requires hands-on expertise and a commitment to reliability. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge GPU clusters

Qualifications

• Experience in a modern data centre environment.
• Strong understanding of server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with servers, replacement and installation of hardware components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay organized while handling multiple priorities.
• Professional communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and spoken; valid class B driving licence.

Do you enjoy working hands‑on with enterprise hardware, solving technical challenges and seeing large‑scale infrastructure come to life? At Lefdal Mine Data Centers we are looking for experienced Data Center Technicians to provide dedicated support to one of our existing High Performance Computing customers.

You’ll become part of a highly skilled technical team operating cutting‑edge IT infrastructure in one of Europe’s most energy‑efficient and sustainable data centers.

This is more than traditional rack‑and‑stack work. You’ll be involved throughout the lifetime of advanced HPC infrastructure, from deployment and integration to maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvements. This is a permanent, full‑time position based at our facility in Lefdal, Nordfjord, Norway (N‑6776 Kjølsdalen).

What you’ll be doing

As a Data Center Technician working at Lefdal Mine Data Centers, you’ll work closely with colleagues, customers and vendors to keep mission‑critical infrastructure running at its best.

• Deploy servers, storage, network equipment and structured cabling

Because of our customers’ operations, participation in an on‑call rotation is required, which may include evenings, weekends and public holidays. Overtime may also occur during planned maintenance windows and larger deployment projects.
