Job summary

Bulk Infrastructure is seeking a Physical Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain physical security across data center sites in the Nordics. You will manage access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related systems, coordinating with operations, IT, and service providers to ensure secure, compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical security systems and data centers.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Nordic languages are an advantage.
• Documented project coordination or management experience with vendors and documentation.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and maintain security standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercoms, perimeter detection, key management, and visitor/badging systems.
• Ensure physical security systems are maintained, tested, documented, and operated according to standards and compliance obligations.
• Monitor health and performance of security systems; coordinate corrective actions for faults, alarms, and disruptions.
• Support access control configuration, camera coverage reviews, alarm testing, and system handover from project to operations.
• Lead or contribute to security system projects from requirements through design, implementation, testing and handover.
• Participate in design reviews for new data center builds to embed physical security requirements early.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with vendors and site teams to minimize disruption.
• Investigate recurring issues and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide technical direction to vendors, contractors and security providers during projects, maintenance and incidents.
