As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to join our team.

The Team Lead position presents an exciting opportunity to expand your leadership skills and enhance your expertise in managing mission-critical infrastructure for a diverse range of wholesale and colocation data center clients. This role is dedicated to fostering team development, ensuring exceptional client engagement, and driving consistent service delivery across multiple locations.

In this position, you will lead teams responsible for delivering technical, security, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services for Salute's extensive portfolio .

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership and Development:

  • Serve as a direct line manager for site engineers across multiple European locations.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop teams to foster professional growth, promote career advancement, and maintain high engagement levels.
  • Cultivate a supportive and positive team culture, ensuring individuals feel valued and empowered in their roles.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support employee development and well-being.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee and manage site teams to implement established processes and procedures consistently across all European sites.
  • Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process for new team members to facilitate their integration into Salute's culture and processes.
  • Provide 24/7 escalation support on a rotational basis, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues.

Client Engagement and Communication:

  • Build strong, positive relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact for all operational concerns.
  • Lead client-facing discussions on operational matters, ensuring clear communication and confidence in service delivery.
  • Proactively address client concerns, demonstrating commitment to outstanding customer service.

Process Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure the accuracy and governance of Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent service quality.
  • Oversee and manage Change Management activities, ensuring information accuracy and high-quality supporting documentation.
  • Track and monitor site performance and efficiency by collecting and reporting key operational metrics.

Coordination and Project Management:

  • Coordinate major activities across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with company processes and contractual obligations.
  • Track and manage outstanding issues through to resolution.
  • Manage and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met.

Additional Duties:

  • Prepare clear, engaging presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Perform other duties as required by Salute to support business operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with Leadership experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience leading teams in fast paced, dynamic environments .
  • Strong mentoring and coaching abilities, with a focus on developing team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently manage sensitive and complex issues.
  • Strong client-facing skills, capable of building trust and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
  • Experience using data center change request software and ticketing systems .
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to engage with teams and meet client needs.

This role is hybrid and the right candidates must be b ased in Norwayin order to support one of our key clients, and additional European locations as required.
