Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Cashier to join our retail team in Tromsø. You will interact with customers face-to-face to handle money transfers, money orders, and currency exchanges, while ensuring accurate data entry and friendly service.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends, proficiency in English and/or Norwegian, and basic MS Word/Excel skills to support daily cash handling and transactions.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Proficiency in English and/or Norwegian.
• Some computer knowledge with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all products (money transfers, money orders, foreign currency).
• Accurately verify or enter the customer's information on our systems.
• Assist customers with inquiries such as services, cancellations or other locations.
• Identify problems during queries and propose solutions or escalate to management.
