Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Cashier to join our retail team in Tromsø. You will interact with customers in a fast-paced environment, handle cash for money transfers, currency exchange, and related services while ensuring accuracy and friendly service.

The role requires good communication in English and/or Norwegian, flexibility to work weekends, and basic MS Word/Excel skills. A valid work permit is necessary for employment in Norway.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Proficiency in English and/or Norwegian is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to perform money transfers, money orders, currency exchange.
• Verify customer information accurately in the system.
• Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
• Balance cash register and prepare cash for bank deposits.
• Maintain daily transaction records and perform other duties as assigned.
