Job description

As a CTO of our company, you will be in charge of building green liquid cooled (HPC) datacentre sites in the Nordic region, connect everything together as one DC-solution, included network, power, thermal heat recovery solution, security, NOC and software for virtualization.

You will manage a team of up to 25 technical people within areas like; Technical Design, SDN, Virtualization, Security, Servers and Racks, NOC and Customer Care implementation.

Your responsibilities

• Creating overall technology standards and practices and ensuring adherence
• Leading the strategy for technology platforms,
• Be in charge of technology partnerships and external relationships
• Overseeing research and development as well as special projects
• Making recommendations to senior management through presentations and advocacy
• Managing data systems implementation and monitoring their effectiveness in meeting business goals
• Supervising software testing, and information systems security and maintenance
• Managing staff in functional areas such as LAN/WAN architecture, systems operations, and hardware and
• software resources
• Developing technology contingency plans to keep projects on track
• Supervising Web application and software development
• Participating in generating new products and facilitating their entry to market
• Collaborating with the executive team to assess and recommend technologies in support of company needs

About you

• You hold a MBA in computer science or similar.
• You have worked as CIO or CTO in other companies for at least 5 years
• You have experience in building up and leading a new business from a technical perspective
• You are business orientated
• You are curious and stay on top of technology trends
• You have a desire to be part of the green shift
• You have a passion for new technology and desire to be a market frontrunner
