Job summary

Asobbi Ltd is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager for our AI data centre in Sauda, Norway. You will lead the reliability, safety and performance of the site’s mission-critical infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems.

This role requires collaboration with engineers, contractors and operations to optimize uptime, PUE and energy efficiency within a renewable-powered liquid-cooled GPU facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with data centres or critical facilities.
• Knowledge of power generation or industrial infrastructure.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience with HPC, GPU or liquid-cooled environments.
• Experience in mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical electrical, mechanical and cooling systems.
• Manage power generation and distribution.
• Support high-density GPU and liquid-cooling infrastructure.
• Lead preventive maintenance, incident response and change control.
• Monitor and optimize BMS/CMMS performance.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, safety and compliance.
• Improve uptime, PUE and energy efficiency.
