Job summary

Scan Granitt AS in Stavanger is expanding its installation team to support Norway’s leading kitchen brands. You will join an established three-person crew, carrying out on-site countertop installations and precise measurements for customers in Rogaland and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in kitchen installation, countertop installation, carpentry, or cabinetmaking.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and demanding work.
• Comfortable with Norwegian and/or English for customer communication.
• Able to use digital tools for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Install countertops at customer sites in Rogaland and surrounding areas.
• Take on-site measurements for precise fittings.
• Coordinate with team leader and customers throughout the delivery process.
• Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner while handling heavy slabs.

Scan Granitt AS is Norway's leading manufacturer of stone countertops, with kitchen brands such as Sigdal, HTH, Strai Kjøkken, Designa, Svane Kjøkkenet, and Byggmakker among our customers. We have a factory in Sandefjord and installation departments in several locations across the country. Since our founding in 1998, we have grown to become the largest player in our segment in Norway. Today we are 48 employees -- 15 in administration and 33 in production/installation -- with an average age of around 40.

Job description

Scan Granitt is growing, and we are looking for a new installer to join our team in Stavanger -- an established team of three, including a team leader. You'll be part of a team delivering stone countertops to some of Norway's largest kitchen brands.

Responsibilities

You will install countertops and carry out on-site measurements for customers in and around Rogaland -- typically 8-12 installations and an equal number of measurements per week. The work is physically demanding, involving lifting and handling heavy slabs. Your team leader plans and assigns the jobs, and you'll follow up with customers throughout the delivery process, from picking up slabs at the warehouse to final installation.

Requirements

• Has hands-on experience in kitchen installation, countertop installation, carpentry, or cabinetmaking
• Is in good physical condition and comfortable with physically demanding work
• Holds a Class B driving licence
• Is precise and quality-focused
• Enjoys a varied workday with several things going on at once
• Communicates well with customers, in Norwegian and/or English
• Is comfortable using digital tools for reporting and communication
