ConFlip in Svalbard seeks a skilled Concrete Worker to join our team and lay, smooth, and finish concrete for diverse construction projects. The role demands hands-on experience, the ability to operate hand and power tools, and strict adherence to safety guidelines.

This contract position pays $1,600 per month, with no housing provided. Ideal candidates have at least two years in a similar role, good communication, and physical fitness to lift heavy materials and work with different concrete

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Concrete Worker or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with different types of concrete and their applications.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
• Mix pour and spread concrete using various tools.
• Smooth and level concrete using hand or power tools.
• Create desired textures with trowels or other tools.
• Monitor curing process and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
