Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a skilled Planner to join our Data Centre team in Norway. You will develop and control programmes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with NEC/JCT frameworks where relevant.

As a key member of the project team you will produce 4D/2D phasing, maintain CDE documentation, monitor progress, highlight risks and opportunities, and lead planning activities with project managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning within large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of UK and EU contract frameworks.
• Proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject).
• Strong IT skills for digital planning and reporting.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of baseline programmes with clear critical path.
• Prepare target programmes for efficiency improvements.
• Maintain programme documentation in a Common Data Environment.
• Create 4D/2D phasing models to illustrate sequences.
• Provide robust reporting and risk/opportunity insights.
• Lead weekly/monthly programme reporting to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior planners and support pre-construction activities.
