Job summary

Kongsberg Gruppen seeks a configuration management specialist to contribute to baselines, document releases and change management, strengthening CM practices and complex product structures.

You will develop CM plans, monitor changes to documentation, and collaborate with Systems Engineering to build product structures. The role features international projects in a dynamic team; eligibility for Norwegian or German security clearance is required.

Job description

The field of Configuration Management encompasses the control of product structures and product documentation, as well as the management of product changes. We are looking for an individual who can contribute to baselines, document releases, and change management within our projects, and who can help strengthen Configuration Management practices and the development of complex product structures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and monitoring Configuration Management (CM) plans for projects
• Managing technical changes to documentation, and providing status updates on these changes to the projects
• Collaborating with Systems Engineering to build product and document structures
• Actively contributing to the further development of Configuration Management methods and tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong computer literacy; experience with PDM (Product Data Management) systems is preferred
• A precise and systematic approach to work
• A self-driven, analytical, pro-active and positive mindset, which enjoys challenges
• An interest in the development of large-scale technical systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively within a team
• Fluent English both written and spoken
