Job summary

Petrolink Support as seeks a Completion Engineer to secure a structured, traceable and efficient completion and handover process for Stavanger projects. The role involves coordinating Mechanical Completion, Preservation, and Commissioning activities, ensuring proper documentation, scoping, and handover to operations in line with client standards and HSSE policies.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in oil & gas engineering, strong PIMS CMS knowledge, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in oil and gas projects within engineering, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
• Subsea experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of PIMS CMS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong competence within LCI processes and documentation requirements
• Strong interpersonal, managerial, and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Focused on HSSE and quality in all project phases
• Experience from the Norwegian oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Establish fit-for-purpose completion structures and maintain high-quality documentation and data.
• Coordinate Mechanical Completion, Preservation, Commissioning, and handover activities.
• Support timely handover of systems, facilities, and documentation to operations.
• Maintain completion and handover structures in PIMS in line with requirements.
• Ensure correct scoping and traceable documentation of completion activities in PIMS CMS.
• Maintain data quality and alignment between engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Drive proper scope management and coordination of handover certificates (RFCC, RFOC).
• Facilitate handover reviews and promote collaboration among project teams, contractors, and operations.
• Safeguard HSSE and quality across all completion phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and best practices.

Petrolink Support is looking for aCompletion Engineer to ensure a structured, traceable, and efficient completion and handover process for our client in Stavanger.

Contract location: Stavanger

Tasks

Typical work tasks will be

• Responsible for establishing fit-for-purpose completion structures, maintaining high-quality documentation and data, and coordinating Mechanical Completion, Preservation, Commissioning, and handover activities in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Predictable and efficient project execution by reducing the risk of delays, ensuring compliance, and supporting the timely handover of systems, facilities, and documentation to operations.
• Establish and maintain a fit-for-purpose completion and handover structure in PIMS in line with project requirements and company standards
• Secure correct scoping and traceable documentation of Mechanical Completion, Preservation, and Commissioning activities in PIMS CMS
• Maintain data quality and alignment between engineering, construction, and commissioning disciplines to enable efficient project execution and handover
• Drive proper scope management
• Ensure handover certificates (RFCC, RFOC) are properly coordinated, documented, and approved according to project requirements
• Facilitate handover reviews.
• Promote collaboration between project teams, contractors, and operations to achieve transparent, safe, and efficient completion processes
• Safeguard compliance with client’s HSE principles, management system, and technical standards throughout all completion phases
• Contribute to continuous improvement of work processes, system functionality, and best practices for project completion and commissioning management

Qualifications
