Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team. You will assess, plan and implement goal-based treatment for residents, collaborating with care staff across Residential, Community and Rehabilitation settings.

You will hold a Physiotherapy qualification with current AHPRA registration and strong communication and coaching skills. Pre-employment medical and NDIS Worker Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Physiotherapy and demonstrated experience in the area of expertise.
• Current AHPRA registration to practise as a physiotherapist.
• Ability to educate, support and coach direct care staff, clients and families.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and carers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physiotherapy assessment and develop individualised goal-based treatment plans.
• Support clients in achieving their goals towards independence and safe living at home.
• Provide clinical support to Community Transitional Care and Community programmes; act as escalation point.
