Description

SLB Capturi is a leading carbon capture technology company.

We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Through our portfolio of projects, weare mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future. We see a daily growth in our market potential as a rising number of customers look to carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) and our company to solve their emissions challenges.

SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

We are now looking for a Commissioning Manager

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and contribute to our commissioning and completion methodology, execution principles, systems and tools
  • Be responsible for planning, implementation and execution of commissioning in our deliveries
  • Review contractual and engineering documentation to ensure that the commissioning and start-up requirements are accounted for in the design
  • Prepare and maintain the commissioning execution plans including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment as well as the commissioning procedures
  • Supervise the preparation of the performance test procedures and the operating manuals with the process team
  • Assist our procurement group for the definition of vendor assistance and our subcontracting group for the scope definition of work contractors
  • Manage the execution of commissioning and start-up
  • Prepare commissioning progress reports for our project management and the commissioning dept
  • Ensure the preparation of final reports and certificates
  • Perform handover processes

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 8-10+ years’ experience of commissioning
  • Multidiscipline commissioning experience of process systems
  • Good understanding and experience within engineering is a plus
  • A proven track record from large-scale international projects
  • Multi-disciplinary understanding with an analytical mindset and strong communication skills
  • Self-driven and motivated with a passion for environmental projects
  • Flexible regarding work tasks with the ability to travel within Europe on occasion
  • Systematic working style
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
