Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking a Project Engineer in Stord, Norway for a fixed-term assignment from October 2026 to July 2027. You will perform completion, commissioning, and verification activities on topside equipment, ensuring field installations align with P&IDs and ISO drawings.

Periodic offshore rotation and night shifts may apply. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in Oil & Gas, experience in mechanical completion, and strong communication within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Certification as a skilled worker or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
• Experience with mechanical construction, project completion, or operating roles.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and ISO drawings.
• Offshore operations or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform Completion and Commissioning activities for topside equipment.
• Assist with testing, verification, and documentation processes.
• Conduct Mechanical Completion follow-up and punch-out of defined packages.
• Prepare, set, and verify Valve & Blind lists.
• Execute commissioning activities on assigned systems.
• Verify field installations meet design specs, P&IDs and ISO drawings.
• Participate in system check-outs, verifications, and walk-downs.
• Contribute to safe, efficient handover to operations.
• Ensure clear communication between operations, maintenance, contractors and suppliers.
