Job summary

Cisco Systems Lysaker innovation center just outside Oslo is seeking a software/DevOps engineer to join the Continuous Delivery team. You will build features in Python, maintain in-house services, and help deploy products from concept to production.

You will work with Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), and Elastic Stack, set up metrics, and enhance developer workflows with AI tooling. If you enjoy collaborative work across teams, this is for you.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• 1–2 years of professional software or DevOps engineering experience.
• Experience in Python with clean code, testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build features and maintain functionality by writing software, mainly in Python.
• Develop and support Kubernetes infrastructure using GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and Elastic Stack.
• Set up metrics and alarms to keep services healthy and observable.
• Improve developer workflows by building AI tooling.
• Test and debug, both your own code and the products we sell.
