Job summary

NCC Construction AS is seeking a Category Manager & Team Leader to lead the Nordic Fleet team and drive strategic category management across the Nordics. You will shape future-oriented strategies and partner with internal teams and suppliers to establish NCC as a preferred customer.

Based in the Oslo region with travel across the Nordics, you will build Nordic processes, governance, and supplier relationships while leading a team of six across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

The team is responsible for NCC's company-wide fleet of several thousand vehicles, including both service vehicles and company cars. The role combines day-to-day leadership - supporting the team, setting priorities and coordinating operational activities - with the strategic responsibility to develop Fleet into a more integrated Nordic function.You work closely with the business and lead category strategies according to NCC's strategic direction. You will be a central partner in the organization and collaborate with internal teams as well as external suppliers to ensure an efficient, high-quality, and sustainable supplier base.An important part of the role is to lead the ongoing transformation of Fleet. This includes developing common Nordic ways of working, processes and governance, as well as taking responsibility for supplier agreements, policies and the strategic direction of the category. You will create structure for the team, support colleagues in their work and ensure that priorities and improvement initiatives are translated into execution.A key part of the role is to act as a change leader across the organization. You will drive transformation, implement new ways of working, and ensure adoption of category strategies in a complex, matrix-based environment.
