Job summary

Our home care agency is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly clients in Alta Norway.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation and medication reminders. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caring for others and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position is open to candidates without previous experience making it an ideal opportunity for students or those seeking a career change.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to elderly clients in their homes
• Assist with daily tasks such as personal hygiene meal preparation and medication reminders
• Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Monitor clients health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times

Requirements

• Must have a valid biometric passport or be eligible to obtain one
• Ability to communicate effectively in English Norwegian language skills are a plus

Salary $1700 per month negotiable based on experience
