The Department of Cancer Immunology at Oslo University Hospital's Institute of Cancer Research seeks a research engineer (spesialingeniør) in molecular and cell biology to join Prof. Mouldy Sioud's group.
You will design and conduct in vitro/in vivo experiments, analyze data, and contribute to publications, aiming to identify cell-surface receptors involved in antibody binding to cancer cells and enhance mRNA cancer vaccines.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology, immunology, or a related field.
- Practical experience in molecular and cellular biology including cell culture, transfection, cloning, and protein analysis.
- Experience with flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, tagged protein purification, and immunological techniques is desirable.

- Design and conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments; analyze data and contribute to publications.
- Identify cell-surface receptors involved in antibody binding to cancer cells.
- Enhance efficacy of mRNA-based cancer vaccines through modifications.
