Oslo University Hospital invites applications for a Research Engineer (spesialingeniør) in molecular and cell biology within the research group targeted therapies and immunomodulation led by Prof. Mouldy Sioud.

The role focuses on identifying receptors linked to antibody binding on cancer cells and improving mRNA vaccine strategies. The position is for one year with potential extension, offering a stimulating environment at the interface of basic research and translational cancer therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a related field.
• Experience in molecular and cellular biology incl. cell culture, transfection, cloning and protein analysis.
• Good English communication, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Design and conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments; analyze data and contribute to publications.
• Identify cell-surface receptors involved in antibody binding to cancer cells.
• Enhance efficacy of mRNA-based cancer vaccines via mRNA modifications.
• Collaborate closely with group leader and team members.
