Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Project Technical Engineer in Oslo to lead BMS software and graphics delivery on building projects. You will work with the Project Manager and global teams to ensure client specifications, test setups, FAT/SAT, and on-site activities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Building Management Systems (BMS) software and graphics.
• Experience with PLC systems and on-site commissioning activities.
• Degree or equivalent in automation or electro/automation disciplines.
• Familiarity with HVAC interfaces and coordination with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with customers, consultants, contractors, and commissioning agents.
• Work with Project Manager to meet timelines, quality standards, and customer specifications.
• Review and validate technical choices for design compliance.
• Perform on-site technical activities and gather information to support engineering teams.
• Understand BMS Functional Descriptions and produce software/graphics in EcoStruxure/EBO.
