As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be a key player in promoting Oslofjord to new clients and segments, both nationally and internationally.

You will build relationships, develop events, and create value in close collaboration with an engaged team. The role combines strategic advisory with commercial acumen, and you will be part of an exciting growth journey helping shape the meeting places of the future.

The Position:

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will work closely with national and international key clients within business, organizations, and the event industry. You will be part of a sales and marketing environment that delivers everything from large congresses and conferences to tailored corporate events. You will be the client’s strategic sparring partner – from idea to execution – ensuring we create measurable business value for them.

We are now seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Senior Sales Executive who can help strengthen our position in the Norwegian market while expanding our international presence. You will play a key role in promoting Oslofjord to new clients and segments – and be part of an exciting growth journey. Responsibilities:
  • Actively drive sales towards national and international clients and partners, focusing on strategic and complex agreements.
  • Strengthen our position as a strategic partner in the customer’s value chain.
  • Develop long-term relationships that provide mutual business value.
  • Identify and map the client’s strategic goals, challenges, and future needs.
  • Lead negotiations at a strategic level with decision-makers.
  • Ensure delivery and follow-up in line with agreed objectives.
  • Proactively seek out business opportunities and build relationships with decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with project managers, marketing, sales, and other relevant departments at Oslofjord to tailor offers and solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in strategic B2B sales and strong sales results, preferably within events, hospitality, or tourism.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex solutions (e.g., events, meetings, accommodation, and technical services).
  • Business acumen – ability to understand industry trends and opportunities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and trustworthy behavior.
  • Experience with long sales processes and complex decision-making structures.
  • Understanding of international markets and cultures – experience is required.
