Job summary

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant Lead to guide the MA team, interview patients, record medical history, confirm visit purpose, and support clinicians with patient care.

The Lead MA will prepare patients for visits (BP, weight, temperature), ensure PPE, translate for clinicians, train new hires, perform routine procedures, and maintain accurate entries in medical records.

Qualifications

• Bilingual, English and Spanish required.
• Certified in CPR.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical assistant team and train new hires.
• Interview patients and record medical history; confirm visit purpose.
• Assist clinician with patient care and prepare patients for visit (BP, weight, temperature).
• Enter and report pertinent information in medical records.
• Translate for clinicians.
• Ensure PPE is donned for all interactions.
• Set up exam rooms and determine equipment needs.
• Assist with treatments and dressings.
• Lead day-to-day MA tasks.
