Job summary

VARD Interiors AS is seeking a Bid Manager to lead the bid process for complex sales projects in the maritime interiors sector. You will prepare cost calculations, develop commercial and technical proposals, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to define project scope.

The role requires relevant higher education or equivalent experience, and strong English and Norwegian communication skills. Experience in cost estimation and bid management is advantageous in this global team environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education, or equivalent experience.
• Good written and spoken English and Norwegian skills.
• Knowledge of vessel interiors, HVAC and piping systems.
• Understanding of shipbuilding processes and the maritime industry.
• Experience with cost estimation, commercial analysis or bid management is an advantage.
• Proven experience in securing contracts and delivering successful bids is considered a plus.

• Maintain and improve cost estimation tools, routines and databases.

• Facilitate project handover from Sales to Project Execution.
• Support the continuous development of estimating methodologies and best practices
