A global engineering consultancy in Stavanger, Norway, is seeking a skilled Lead Flow Assurance Engineer to manage projects and lead a team of consultants. The ideal candidate has expertise in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and strong leadership skills. This role offers the chance to work on key initiatives in energy transition and innovative engineering solutions.
To support continued growth within the Production Optimisation team in Stavanger, Norway, we are searching for a driven, solution-orientated and creative Lead Flow Assurance Engineer with technical knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and transport phenomena, and people leadership skills to play a leading role in both the traditional oil and gas and the energy transition markets.
As a Lead Engineer, you will lead studies and projects ranging from conceptual to detailed engineering and operation support. You will have the opportunity to be involved in business development activities and work as part of a global team.
This role is to manage key projects, develop technical proficiency within the company, assist in new opportunities and interfaces with key clients, you will have a solid technical background and be comfortable being a primary point of contact with senior clients and specialists.
You will primarily supervise junior and senior flow assurance / process consultants and will have excellent interpersonal skills and leadership experience.
Our Production Optimisation team in Stavanger are part of our wider consulting business unit. We support our clients to secure economic recovery from existing infrastructure, optimising assets and enabling extension of productive field life whilst accelerating the move towards net Zero. The work we do predominately enables Energy Security whilst we transition. However, we are also growing our services across Carbon Capture Utilisation and storage and transportation of H2 and Ammonia.
