Job description

The bar team at Trevarefabrikken is now looking for new co‑workers. If you have a passion for a fast work pace, serving quality food & drinks, and want to experience Henningsvær in the heart of the Lofoten Islands, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for experienced and skilled bartenders with an eye for good customer service. Our bartender is often the first face our guests meet when visiting Trevarefabrikken; ability to answer all kinds of questions, help with sauna or hotel check‑ins is part of the job.

At Trevarefabrikken we are a big group of friends and colleagues enjoying the island life. We work, hike, climb, surf and watch endless sunsets together. It’s a social place where you’ll make new friends and create lasting memories both inside and outside of work.

From February we need one 80 % and one 60 % position filled.

The work includes

• selling and serving our diverse products – both drinks and food.
• helping our guests choose the right products according to their wishes (e.g., wines).
• keeping Trevarefabrikken warm and welcoming for everyone at all times.
• keeping the working area and storage clean, organised and well‑stocked.
• supporting your co‑workers in the other departments when needed; we like to work as a team!

The job

• requires you to be available from the end of January until the end of October.
• will be a minimum of 60 %–80 %, depending on your wish and our needs; this will be discussed during interviews.
• here in Henningsvær it often changes frequently with the seasons in both weather and amount of visitors, so flexibility when it comes to tasks and workload is expected.
