Job description

The cafe team at Trevarefabrikken is looking for new co-workers. If you have a passion for high quality coffee and want to experience Henningsvær in the heart of the Lofoten Islands, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for experienced and skilled baristas with an eye for good customer service. Our barista is often the first face our guests meet when visiting Trevarefabrikken, so ability to answer all kinds of questions, help with sauna or hotel check-ins is part of the job.

At Trevarefabrikken we are a big group of friends and colleagues enjoying the island life. We work, hike, climb, surf and watch endless sunsets together. It’s a social place where you’ll make new friends and create lasting memories both inside and outside of work.

The work includes

• making, selling and serving quality coffee along with other drinks, pastries, and food from our kitchen.
• keeping Trevarefabrikken a warm and welcoming place for everyone at all times by making sure our guests feel well looked after by a friendly face.
• keeping the cafe clean, organized and well stocked with the necessary ingredients and supplies from our storage.
• supporting your co-workers in other departments when needed. We like to work as a team!

You

• are passionate about high quality coffee and food.
• have a minimum of 1 year relevant experience as a barista.
• enjoy meeting new people and always try to provide the best service and create a positive guest experience.

The job

• requires you to be available from May until October. Onboarding preferably startsbefore May.
• will be minimum 60%, depending on your wish and our needs. This will be discussed during interviews.
• Henningsvær is often changing with the seasons in both weather and visitors, so flexibility when it comes to tasks and workload is expected.
