Job summary

Barista is hiring a Norwegian-speaking barista for the late summer/early autumn season at our Ringebu cafe. You will prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and light bites, and provide warm service to guests in Norwegian and English as needed.

Join us for a full-time seasonal role from August 20 through October 10, with the potential for permanent extension for the right candidate. Free accommodation is included, and a friendly team, great coffee, and vibrant workspace await.

Qualifications

• Fluent or native-level Norwegian is required.
• Experience as a barista or in specialty coffee is preferred.

Are you a coffee lover with a passion for great customer service? We are looking for an energetic, Norwegian-speaking Barista to join our team for the late summer/early autumn season—with the opportunity to stay on permanently for the right candidate!

What You'll Do Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and light food items. Deliver warm, welcoming service to our guests in Norwegian (and English when needed). Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting cafe environment. Handle POS transactions efficiently and accurately.

What We're Looking For Language: Fluent or native-level Norwegian is required. Good English skills are a plus. Experience: Previous barista or specialty coffee experience is preferred, but passion and a great attitude go a long way! Availability: Ready to work full-time from August 20th through October 10th. Personality: Punctual, reliable, team-oriented, and thriving in a fast-paced setting.
