We are searching for an experienced Barber to join our team in Alta Norway. As a Barber you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair care services to our clients including haircuts, beard trims and styling. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and consult with them to determine their desired hairstyle.
• Provide haircuts, beard trims and other hair care services according to clients preferences.
• Keep up-to-date with current hairstyles and trends to offer suggestions and recommendations to clients.
• Ensure a clean and hygienic work environment by sanitizing tools and equipment after each use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
• Upsell products or additional services to clients when appropriate.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of daily sales.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barber in a fast‑paced salon or barbershop setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to clients needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Extensive knowledge of different haircut styles, beard grooming techniques and hair care products.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to create precise cuts and styles according to clients preferences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in Norway or Scandinavian countries is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Norwegian language is an asset but not required.
• Willingness to relocate or already residing in Alta.
• Valid Barbering license.
