What would be my role in ACT?
Understand our easy to maintain legacy backend system (currently a monolith architecture built with microservice based architecture in mind using Java Spring Boot, Kotlin)
Further develop a scalable backend architecture in compliance with best development practices including any kind of refactoring, code base strategy forward, etc.
Optimize deployment pipeline through CI, CD
Implement new great features
Help launch the next major releases of the ACT shopping list app that will make ACT scale globally
Next prepare launch to a larger market in Europe
Work closely with the frontend to ensure interoperability, high availability and quality of the complete solution
What skills do I need to accomplish this?
2 - 3 years of experience with Kotlin development
Experience with Java development
TDD, CI, CD
Scrum-based development
Plus with experience in:
DevOps, Linux commands/batch scripting
Development and production pipeline telemetry
Feature switching, trunk-based development
