Job summary

If Insurance is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to join Security Operations. You’ll design secure cloud architectures and actively build security improvements with platform owners, working close to cloud, engineering, operations and incident response teams.

You’ll focus on Microsoft Azure, with potential exposure to Google Cloud and AWS, translating governance controls into automated policies, strengthening monitoring, and embedding security into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure security experience required.
• Experience turning CIS/NIST into runtime definitions.
• Strong collaboration with IT Security, Engineering, Operations and Governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate cloud audit policies into automated guardrails.
• Operate and improve cloud security tooling and monitoring.
• Investigate security alerts and incidents in cloud environments.
• Ensure security is embedded in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Identify gaps and implement automated policies to improve posture.
