Benford is seeking a qualified auditor to lead statutory engagements from planning through to the file that supports the opinion, embedded in a platform-driven firm. You will work closely with engineers and sign off on the audit judgments while maintaining high quality standards.

This on-site role in Oslo emphasizes year-round client relationships and a hands-on approach to improving audit workflows and processes within the platform. Competitive salary and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• Audit experience from a reputable firm with exposure to statutory engagements.
• Able to work alongside engineers and explain audit reasoning to non-auditors.
• Interested in why the process works, not only in following it.

Responsibilities

• Engagements end to end: planning, risk and materiality, execution and the file that stands behind the opinion.
• Maintain the quality bar on engagements and document how exceptions are resolved.
• Manage the client relationship through the year, not only at year end.
• Collaborate with engineers to influence workflow and product improvements.
