Job summary

A consultancy specializing in sustainable infrastructure in Norway is seeking an ATEX Coordinator for a project. This role includes acting as the main contact during Mechanical Completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing technical guidance to field inspectors. Qualifications

• Understanding of Norwegian regulatory requirements and ATEX directives.
• Proven competence in Ex inspection and verification.
• Strong practical understanding of Ex equipment and Types of Protection.

Responsibilities

• Act as the project’s main contact during Mechanical Completion.
• Support MC/Ex field engineers and ensure compliance with Ex requirements.
• Provide interpretation of EN/IEC 60079 and client requirements.

Skills

Understanding of Norwegian regulatory requirements (Havtil)

Competence in Ex inspection and verification

Practical understanding of Ex equipment

Hands-on technical guidance

Fluent English

Knowledge of Norwegian language
