A permanent position of Associate Professor (SKO 1011) in Media and Communication is available at the Department of Media and Communication, University of Oslo.

We seek a candidate who has an excellent track record of research, whose work contributes to the development of media and communication scholarship.

The successful candidate will have substantial freedom to pursue their research interests and collaborate with colleagues in research groups. For Associate Professors near half of the workload is reserved for research activities. Promotion to full professor can be applied for on personal merit according to university procedures.
