Andøya Space is seeking an Assets Manager to lead the management, coordination, and development of the company’s assets, systems, infrastructure, and sites. You will drive lifecycle management, readiness, and sustainable operations in collaboration with engineering and project teams.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and Assets and requires strong governance, budgeting, and stakeholder management to enable safe, efficient, and scalable operations at the spaceport.

Qualifications

  • Relevant higher education within engineering, business administration, logistics, asset management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience from asset management, operations management, or technical environments.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
  • Good understanding of systems, infrastructure, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience with resource planning, prioritization, and coordination.
  • Experience with KPI monitoring and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
  • Strong digital skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) and ability to obtain security clearance.

Andøya Space is growing, and we are looking for an Assets Manager to join the Operations and Assets department, answering directly to the Director of Operations and Assets.

As Assets Manager, you will play a key role in the management, coordination, and development of the company's assets, systems, infrastructure, and operational sites. You will be responsible for the overall administrative management and coordination of the Assets function, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, operational readiness, lifecycle management,and long-term sustainability of the spaceport and its supporting infrastructure.

The Assets Manager works closely with Team Leads within Systems, Configuration, and Launch Area, while coordinating with projects, technical teams, and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for establishing structure, processes, and governance that support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. This position requires a high level of security suitability and eligibility for security clearance at the level of SECRET / NATO SECRET, in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act.
