We can offer you the following challenges
  • Manage and coordinate our business development activities in the Nordic marine market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and their partners, like ship designers.
  • Be the preferred contact partner for customers, and handle queries in cooperation with Voith in‑house specialists and applications engineers.
  • Attend tradeshows and seminars to promote Voith solutions to the maritime market.
  • Lead commercial negotiations of new sales opportunities up to contract signature.
  • Support the aftermarket business by working together with the marine service team.
  • Define and implement a profitable growth strategy, based on your marketing knowledge.
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence, including competitor activities and project opportunities.
We think you should have the following skills
  • You are familiar with the marine industry and have a strong network within the business.
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in a high‑end technical sales role.
  • Technical knowledge of maritime equipment at minimum an engineer‑level.
  • Relevant experience as ship mechanic or service technician is a huge advantage.
  • Excellent skills in communication, negotiations and project management.
  • Organisational abilities and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Willing to interpret sales data and market trends, including competitor information.
  • High degree of customer satisfaction as well as intercultural skills and understanding.
  • Available for business travel in all Nordic countries and to Voith in Germany.
  • Fluency in any Scandinavian language plus English, both written & spoken.

Are you ready for this challenge?

Voith Turbo AS is looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Manager for this important role. The position is preferably located in Norway, but if you are qualified and living in another Nordic country please contact us for a chat. You will be expected to travel quite hectically, estimated at 70 – 80 days per year. Most trips are planned, but sometimes you will have to leave at short notice. You will work from home somewhere in Norway, but if you are located close to a Voith office you might use that as a base.
