Are you our new Global Product Manager with scientific background and commercial experience?Gentian

Gentian is a Norwegian IVD company that specialises in developing and manufacturing turbidimetric assays for the global market.

In this role you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of product lifecycle management and marketing activities with an international focus. You will work closely with key opinion leaders, distributors, and OEM partners to define and achieve business objectives.

Your work will involve analyzing the market and competitors, translating insights into strategies, and equipping the commercial organization and partners with positioning, tools, and information to ensure products stand out and add value to customers.

The position reports to VP Commercial.

Key tasks include:
  • Lead commercialization and business planning for portfolio products
  • Prepare sales and production forecasts and coordinate with production on customer-related issues and process improvements
  • Travel internationally to visit customers and partners, support global business activities, and represent Gentian at relevant conferences
  • Gather customer insights and collaborate with R&D to support new product development and strengthen post-launch product data
Qualifications and experience:
  • MSc or equivalent in a scientific field
  • Commercial experience within a medical, IVD, or life science company
  • Preferably experience in product launches and go-to-market strategies
