Hattvika Lodge in Ballstad, Lofoten invites an experienced Arctic Guide & Marketing Coordinator to combine guiding with marketing, content creation and storytelling. You will lead arctic experiences 25% of time and drive content, website, social media and campaigns 75% of the time.

Ideal candidates bring Arctic guiding background, strong English writing, photography and video skills, and a passion for sharing Arctic culture with an international audience.

Qualifications

• University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
• Proven professional writing skills in English.
• Published writing in travel, leisure, adventure or tourism.
• Strong photography and video content skills in outdoor settings.
• Experience with social media and digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead Arctic guiding experiences and ensure guest safety and engagement.
• Create high-quality photo and video content from Arctic environments.
• Develop marketing content across digital and traditional channels.
• Write newsletters, press releases, website content and blogs.
• Coordinate content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads and X/Twitter.
• Support SEO and coordinate media relations and events.
