Job summary

PixelWave Studios in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our construction team. You will operate cranes to lift and move materials on site, following safety regulations and company procedures.

This contract role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment. A valid crane operator license and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required, with tower crane exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid crane operator license or certification.
• Minimum 2 years of crane operating experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow them.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required.
• Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane according to safety regulations and company procedures
• Inspect crane and perform necessary maintenance
• Lift and move heavy materials, equipment and machinery on construction sites
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work in a timely manner
• Keep accurate records of work performed
