Job summary

Arbeidsplassen is seeking four part-time booking assistants to join our Tromsø office team for a seasonal period from end October to March 31st. The role is 50% part-time with weekend shifts in Tromsø Centre, handling emails, calls, texts and in-person inquiries to ensure smooth bookings.

The team operates with an international client base in a Nordic Arctic setting; training is provided and experience in hospitality or tourism is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (other languages are a bonus).
• Structured work style with the ability to organize tasks efficiently.
• Careful and precise in every detail to avoid errors in booking.
• Proficient using computers and comfortable learning new booking systems.
• Experience from customer service in hotel or tourism is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming bookings from business customers via email, booking systems, text and calls.
• Update and maintain booking systems with accurate information.
• Contribute to reporting and follow-up of customer data to optimize service.
• Support the booking team by ensuring precise data entry.
