Job summary
XYZ Architecture Firm in Alta is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to assist with the design development and construction of a range of architectural projects. You will help create detailed drawings, collaborate with architects and engineers, and ensure designs comply with codes and client requirements.
You will conduct site visits, research materials and methods for cost-effective, sustainable solutions, prepare proposals and reports, oversee construction documents, and provide
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience as Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Experience in project management is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation of detailed architectural drawings and plans
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet client requirements and building codes
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess existing conditions
- Research materials and building techniques to ensure cost-effective and sustainable solutions
- Prepare project proposals, reports and presentations for clients
- Oversee the production of construction documents
- Monitor project progress and provide technical support during construction phase
- Stay updated on current trends in architecture and new technologies
