Job description

We at Cermaq have a long tradition and good experience in recruiting apprentices. We are always looking for young talents who are committed to aquaculture and want a career in the industry.

In Steigen we have food fish production at several facilities in Nordfoldfjorden and facilities in the northern part of the municipality, in addition to hatchery production at Dyping, Holmvåg and Forsan. We also have a growth center, slaughterhouse, technical department, service boats and our head office in Steigen municipality. We also have three food fish farms in Vesterålen and a hatchery at Hopen outside Bodø.

Cermaq Norway is in continuous growth and has a strong focus on improvement and innovation. We want to hire apprentices who want to develop, both professionally and personally, and who can consider applying for a job with us after completing their apprenticeship.

We are currently looking for candidates who would like to be an apprentice with us in the aquaculture profession. We have vacancies at our hatchery, food fish farm and growth center. If you have a specific location in mind, it would be nice if you wrote that in your application.

• Qualifications of the candidates we are seeking:
• Passing the secondary school certificate in Aquaculture (Blue line) is required.
