Job summary

Sony Europe is seeking an Analog Design Engineering Intern for its IC Design Centre in Norway. You will contribute to analogue and mixed-model ICs for image sensor products, gaining hands-on experience in design, verification and prototyping in a collaborative, international team.

The role involves working on implementation and validation tasks, with a focus on analog IC design for CMOS image sensors. The internship lasts 3 months, starting in June 2027, based in Norway.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s, PhD degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering, electronics, physics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Analogue circuit implementation and verification.
• Analogue layout implementation and physical verification.
• Development of tools for sensor design implementation and verification.
• Development of test automation for characterisation and evaluation of fabricated sensors.
