A global leader in helicopter services is seeking a Technician for their Base in Sola. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance and modifications on aircraft, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. Applicants should hold an EASA B1 and/or B2 license and possess excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian. Qualifications

CHC Helikopter Services are now recruiting for multiple roles as technicians at our bases located on Sola, at the Department of Light Maintenance/ Block (Part 145)

TEKNIKER – Base Sola

Key Responsibilities

The tasks will be related to maintenance and modification of aircraft, but co-responsibility and flexibility are also assumed in relation to other necessary tasks related to technical responsibilities and obligations.

  • Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area
  • Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision
  • Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority
  • Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
  • Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned
  • Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area’s under their control
  • Work in compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting
  • May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility

    Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

    Essential

  • EASA Licensed B1 and / or B2 Engineer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language)
  • Good computer skills
  • Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements
  • Excellent cooperation skills in a team-environment
  • Highly adaptable to change, and thrives in a hectic and dynamic work-environment
  • Work accurate, efficiently and with great work-ethics

  • The work arrangement will be in accordance with current shift schedules
  • Employees are required to obtain an airport security pass and necessary approvals for the accomplishment of the role

  • Experience of AMOS MRO software is an advantage
