Job summary

SaaS Recman AB is seeking a Specialist Engineer to design and implement IT/OT cybersecurity solutions for industrial networks in Bergen. The role involves risk assessments, security testing, documentations, and supporting sales and after-sales activities.

You will contribute to Siemens cybersecurity projects, stay current with industry trends, and collaborate with global teams. A strong background in networking and security standards is required, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• University degree in communications engineering, network communications or OT security.
• Several years of professional cybersecurity experience, preferably in large automation and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, switching and routing.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, NERC CIP standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Adapting and developing customer-specific solutions for industrial networks and OT security in projects (e.g. SIEM, NIDS).
• Conducting risk assessments, security testing, fixing and documenting solutions.
• Supporting sales, bid management, commissioning and after-sales activities.
• Continuously developing knowledge and helping others grow.
• Making decisions on security-related issues.
• Implementing Siemens cybersecurity solutions according to best industry practices (remote and on-site).
• Staying updated on trends and tools in cybersecurity.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in IT / OT cybersecurity architectures and technologies.
• Broad understanding of product lifecycle management and secure development processes; familiarity with security standards and regulations such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, NERC CIP are an advantage.
• Motivated and able to self-organize and prioritize complex tasks in intercultural and global teams.
• Open to learning and willing to explore new cybersecurity solutions and measures.
• University degree (Master/Bachelor or Associate Engineer) in the field of communications engineering, network communications, OT security
• Several years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, ideally in the field of large automation and control systems
• Very good network's knowledge (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, switching, routing) and Cybersecurity concepts, standards (e.g. IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001),
• Certificates like CCNA/CCNP
• Deep knowledge in secure configuration of the hardware components related to switching/routing/firewall (Cisco, Ruggedcom, Scalance switches and firewalls, etc)
• Willingness for business trips.
